Submissions Update: Visual Art Only

Thank you to everyone who submitted written work to Lilomul. We've now reached capacity for our upcoming release and are no longer accepting poetry, prose, or hybrid writing at this time.

This is only for issue submissions; archive submissions are open to written pieces.

However, visual art submissions are still open and very much welcome, especially for cover art consideration.

We're currently looking for:

* Cover art ( one striking, standalone piece)

* Visual works

* Pieces that interact with the ideas of empathy, erasure, or quiet resistance, in line with Lilomul's ethos

If you're a visual artist, illustrator, or even a writer with a visual practice, we'd love to see your work.

Please use the updated form for visual submissions. Written submissions sent through this link will not be reviewed.

Submissions will remain  open until all visual slots are filled. If selected, we'll be in touch regarding formatting and placement.

Thank you for helping shape this debut issue of Lilomul.

Call for Submissions

Her and I-- two voices in one breath.

Two lives pressed together until our differences disappear.

Pain draws us together. Survival makes us one.

She and I are not separate.

We hold each other in mirrors, in echoes.

Only one exists now: She

And from her-- we speak.

Act 1:

She and I, Together We Shall

It is a reckoning. A union. A calling forth of voices that understand what it means to fracture and fuse. We are looking for the split selves, the doubled bodies, the silenced mouths now ready to open. This issue is for those who have lived many versions of themselves-- and for those who have never been allowed even one.

Please read our Submissions Guidelines before submitting.
